“I Want It That Way”

Although this video was filmed in 2018, it still carries the same magic. The song performed in this viral video is the instantly recognizable pop hit, “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys. This 1999 classic is sure to help you feel nostalgic about your boy band phase growing up.

Well, the tables have turned.

Not only do they lip-sync, but they can also act! The beginning sets the scene with a short sketch inspired by the show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and some honestly not bad Accapella from the officers. It’s also funny that they decided to put themselves into a lineup. It definitely sets the tone before they absolutely bring the energy for the song.

Okay, it’s a little pitchy singing but they aren’t professionals!

Once the sketch ends, that’s where the real fun begins. With a complete vibe change and busting energy, these officers bring the heat. With incredible prop placement, these guys really set the scene. Giving off hefty boy band vibes, perfect timed lip-syncing, and amazing choreography, this group certainly made an impression.

You can’t forget about the dog!

We all know that dogs are an essential part of any police force. These furry friends are hardworking officers themselves, so of course, they had to make sure to include at least one in the video too. They didn’t forget to have their loyal companion in its proper attire too for the video.

The Cop Cliche.

We all know of the cliche that cops love their donuts and coffee. These officers made sure to remind us of that, but Canadian style of course! They made sure to include a hilarious clip of some officers enjoying some donuts from their local Tim Horton’s.

Get ready for the big finale.

Of course, they need to end such a well-put-together music video on a high note. Leveling up on the prop game, they brought in an armored vehicle and even a SWAT team. They also included a lot of mascot backup dancers. It seemed like quite the production.

It doesn’t end there.

After circling back to the beginning sketch, they finally give us some insight into the situation. I won’t spoil it, but it’s definitely an ending that will put a smile on your face. They even included some silly bloopers in the end as well.
