Kindness is what the world needs, especially during these trying times when most people have been pushed against the wall.

Thankfully, we’re seeing many inspiring stories of acts of kindness that show it’s never hard to be kind.

More and more people are making this world a better place because of their willingness to help others. Even those who are not financially blessed are trying their very best to give to the less fortunate. They know help is a help, whether or not it comes in a big package.

A random act of kindness.

Concordia resident Brandy Bisson, a mother of three (two of which are school-age boys), has proven to the entire world she doesn’t need to be well-off just to able to help.

Bisson’s big heart urged her to donate food to other people. She’s definitely made a huge impact not only on their community but also on the rest of the world.

Where it all started.

When her son was about to celebrate his birthday, she wasn’t certain if they could give him a decent celebration. She definitely wanted to give her son a blast but, sadly, a constraint on their budget was an issue.

To her surprise, the community stepped in to give her son a proper celebration on his seventh birthday.

They sent the little boy some presents and also gave the celebrant a drive-by parade due to the coronavirus.

Paying it forward.

Getting such an amount of love and generosity from the community, Bisson knew she had to give all the love back to someone at the very least. She wanted to share the blessing that she and her family had received that’s why she came up with a bright idea to pay things forward.

One day, Bisson was at the grocery store and all of a sudden decided to pay for 8 people’s grocery stuff which totaled to over $600!

“With the pandemic and everything and all the election stuff, I just wanted to bring smiles to people’s faces,” she said in an interview.

Even if she’s not rich, she still knows how to replicate the kindness given and shown to her. She is definitely a good example to her young children.

Little did Bisson know, the cashier noticed what she’s doing but didn’t have the chance to thank her in person so she decided to post it on Facebook.

Her story of kindness soon went viral and she’s hoping that it will inspire more to do good too for people who are in dire need of help.

A good example.

Turns out, Bisson was guided properly by her late mother who had inspired her to be kind and giving to others.

Bisson said, “We’ve been on both sides of the spectrum. It’s not a good thing when you don’t know where you’re going to get food for your kids.”

Her kindness didn’t stop there, the following week, she’s back again in paying for a woman’s groceries. Not only that because she also took care of Thanksgiving dinners for two families. She truly is an incredible woman!

Doing the right thing.

Just like Bisson, we don’t need to be rich to help others. We just need a genuine intention to help and a positive attitude. What matters the most is we are always ready to lend a helping hand, especially when it’s badly needed.
